At lunch time today, spotted about 3 black browed albatross fairly close in to the cliffs at the end of the road in Botany Bay NP, Kurnell. Close enough for ID from the car with 8x42 binos. Many sea birds including what appeared to be many Aust Gannets dive bombing well off shore. A stiff southerly was blowing all day today. Two days ago I had an immature white bellied sea eagle, today a Nankeen Kestrel hovering above the cliffs. regards, Chris Ross Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
