Hi All
Good to see a few signs of Spring in Melbourne suburbs in July. Today I
disturbed a Spotted Pardalote that was making a nesting burrow. Noisy
miners have been particularly noisy and chasing each other madly and
also collecting nesting material. Our major sign of spring here at home
is the incessant (but very welcome) morning call of the local Little
Wattlebirds, which started about a week ago.
Now all we need is some warmer weather!
Cheers,
Merrilyn
