G'day Terry and all, yep along with the bay sediment being stirred by those very powerful tugs, quite badly stirred, can I say, I'm interested in the discoloration of the ocean water close to the rear of the "ANL Excellence" .... I wonder if any Moreton bay water? Hahaha at the use of the word water, samples were taken? looks quite oily brown to me? at least it does here?

I may be paranoid, but a look at the photo in an article in today's Courier Mail (with photo) seems to indicate that the statement ".. Queensland Transport said there was no fuel or oil spilled from the
vessel, which was en route from Port Kelang in Malaysia to Brisbane and on to Sydney's Port Botany. Transport Minister Steve Bredhauer said there was no evidence of environmental damage.

"is a load of rubbish".

My suspicions were aroused after the incident was shown on TV. Even my wife, who is not as environmentally aware as I am said, when she saw it on TV, "What do they mean no oil spill? I can see it!" The web address which I have included is too long. It will be cut by my ISP. You may have to type it in yourself or you can simply go to

www.thecouriermail.news.com.au and look for the story.

I hope I am wrong.
