Hi Jack

Re your posting of 5th June:

Last Thursday I loooked out the window of the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council's office at Mornington to see a Crested Pigeon on the powerlines outside.  I hadn't seen a CP on the Peninsula before.

Crested Pigeons have been reported on the Mornington Peninsula for some time now.  I saw a pair at Mt Eliza on 3/9/97 and a pair at Devilbend Reservoir picnic area on 19/10/99.

I also had my one and only sighting of Grey-crowned Babbler on the Peninsula at Devilbend on 16/3/99.

Cheers
Val Ford
