There's an item in today's SMH on this topic which may
be of interest to people:

That's NOT JAG's main concern with licensing ALL that
provide a home for a good looking bird, but what is
giving him lots of angst is birds that outlive their
carers? we have plenty here in the Oz wunderland that
live well beyond 80 years!!! finding a caring home for
a 71 year old galah is tough. But if the worst comes
to the worst then I know JAG will take her in.

But what will he call her? slow on the wing? perhaps
"Peck~em" after that English soccer player :^D

Eggy says it's not a problem for her to get her flying
license, the written part of the test is all Black and
White to her anyway .... ~:^D>>> I just wish the fairy
penguins of these parts would stop using JAG's walking
frame as a soccer goal .... but the game is helpng
