Last week whilst spotlighting in Carnavon Gorge we were treated to a plucky display by a Yellow-bellied Glider attempting to dislodge a powerful owl from his roost by a determined swoop/glide ,which proved to be successfull and great entertainment to the onlookers.
On the road from Roma to the Gorge sighted approx.150 plum-headed finches,1 bustard and about a dozen squatter pigeons.
On a lagoon on Fitzroy Dev.Road great viewings of numerous water birds/waders,including cotton pygmy geese and jabirus
Frank and Louris Loughland.
