Hi Folks,
In addition to the previous email, The Wetlands Centre is located on Sandgate Road, Shortland approximately 9km (as the stork flies) north of Newcastle CBD.
The arrival of the Jabiru could not have been better!!  A photographer from the Newcastle Herald was here taking shots of some of the birds for an up and coming two page spread on the birds of the Hunter Valley - and then right in front of his lense appeared this magnificent beast!
