G'day Birders,
                        While I really don't want to fuel the fire, I will
anyway.

Years ago when I worked with fish and not birds et al, it was noted that
every fishery that was the subject of increased research and management
effort seemed to fail within a few years of the heightened level of
interest. Why?? Because when everything is going fine,  you don't need to
invest time and money to find out whats going wrong. But by the time a
problem was realised, it was too late to deal with it.

Maybe the same applies to waders??????
