I was very impressed with the Tassie govt response to the letters,
and very unimpressed with the federal govt response, which basically
was the standard pollie trick of answering a different question:

Q: What are you doing about foxes in Tassie, Dr Kemp?

A: We've spent a lot of money on fox control in the past.

Translation: Well actually we've done bugger all about the foxes in
Tassie, but I can't say that, so instead I'll tell you all about the
great work we've done on fox control elsewhere, even though that's
not what you asked about.
