Edwin,
    1) Did you see the two birds together or at separate times?
    2) How did the morphology differ?
    3) How did you age the birds?
    4) If as you say, one was a juvenile, does this imply you think it possible it was born locally?
 
    There are certainly some interesting questions regarding the bird I saw and photographed, e.g. why is it in primary moult and why is there some pale fringing to some upperpart feathers. I think there may be parallels with the first year Ringed Plover C. h. tundrae at Marlo.
