Hi Trevor,
On 19 June 2000 on a flying business trip to SA from Sydney, I spent a couple
of hours birding around Murray Bridge at lunchtime.
Not being familiar with the area (being my first visit), I found it incredibly
difficult to find any reserves (or any bush for that matter), and ended-up at
the Govt's Native Tree Revegetation nursery in Murray Bridge.
There I readily found my first crested shrike-tits, with close-up sightings on
the trunks of some eucalypts in the carpark for the nursery. At that stage i
was still taking photos of my lifers, and got a great close-up.

Regards,
Bruce Roubin,
Caringbah,
Sydney
