If, like me, you'll be heading to Edithvale on Saturday, this photo, taken by George Swann at Broome in October 1996 should be of interest
 
(George's bird appears to be still in part breeding plumage. The long neck is very distinctive. Any comments from those who have seen the Edithvale bird??)
