Hello all,
I have finally identified the unknown call that I put on my web page. It was
the black-faced monach as suggested to me by David Stewart, Vicki Powys and
Peter Ewin.
I spotted it this morning on my visit to Picnic Grove Ingleburn.
At one stage I changed to name of the call on my web page to the
white-throated treecreeper which I had seen regularly in the area but now I
have corrected my web page and have a recording of the white-throated
treecreeper that I managed to record yesterday.
The new unknown bird call on my page might be the grey shrike-thrush, I only
managed to get 2 short calls, at one stage I was very close to the grey
shrike-thrush but it never made a single sound.
