Thank you for that Peter. Sunday 8.45a.m sounds a bit drastic ( no such
things as birds over Christmas, too hung over)

You or the birds?

but Monday 2.15 Hm, I might
be up by then. I'll have to be out in my car though, haven't got radio
hooked up indoors. What wavelength/frequency is Radio Nat on ? And are they
Eastern States times or our more sensible ones for SA.?

Those were Sydney times, Eastern Daylight Saving Time.
Radio National in Sydney is an AM station on 576 kHz.

Strange to think that in Collinsville (near Bowen, QLD)
you can hear only two radio stations, both FM, both ABC,
both stereo, and both playing almost back to back country and western.
(I guess that covers both tastes ;-)
In Gosford, barely 40km from Gore Hill, and almost direct line of sight,
I can't get any ABC radio stations clearly, AM or FM.

Still, Radio National has some of the most fascinating programs
on any radio station in Australia, I reckon.
Although yesterday I heard Clive Robertson interviewing Unca Johnny,
who was telling us that Donald McDonald is just an old friend,
and that they rarely discuss ABC content. yeah, right..

Merries to all,
Peter
