===OCKHAM'S RAZOR - Chris Puplick
Sun 23 Dec at 8.45am & Mon 24 Dec at 2.15pm - Why Birdwatching?
Why do some people climb tall mountains, wade through swamps, rise long
before dawn, go out when it's below freezing and drive hundreds of
kilometres just to see another bird? Sue Taylor, author of 'How Many Birds
is That', is one such person who says she is just not a bird watcher but a
twitcher which means she actually twitches with excitement when she sights a
new species.
The 600 Club - of bird watchers
Melbourne writer Sue Taylor is a true "birdo". To add to her collection of
sightings of birds she travels extensively, gets up long before dawn and
braves the elements, no matter how cold or hot it gets. Sue Taylor talks
about her book "How Many Birds Is That?" which is published by Hyland House.

I would have included a streaming media site for those not in the country
but I find that although you can listen to TripleJ, ABC News Radio,
and Radio Australia, we cannot get Radio National.
It's just not good enough Auntie.
Here's their streaming site anyway:
