We have to share our pleasure. In our small bit of bush, as well two
cryptostylus ground orchids - subulate and erecta - and hyacinth orchids
about to flower, we found a new patch of Flying duck orchids (Caleana
major). And these, to bring birds into it, within about 30 metres of
parent Boobook with three pale, fluffy young! These have been in the
same vicinity for about 8 days now.
It can't get much better than this, surely.
