I just received this virus from Julie Lynn McLaren. (My apologies to
the "Birding Services Brisbane" - I misinterpreted your original warning
message as having received the _warning_ from Julie.) The size of the
infected email is shown as 40kb, far larger than most Birding-Aus emails.

Russell: are you able to limit the allowable message size, or block
emails that contain attachments altogether? (In this case the attachment
type is "audio/x-wav", but this is only one of many fake types used to
trick Windows into opening it automatically.)

Be sure to turn off the message preview window before attempting to
delete a suspicious email. In Netscape, click on the arrow button
between the message list and preview pane to hide it; in Internet
Explorer, add a Preview button to your toolbar (right click on the
toolbar and select "Customize..."; find the Preview button in the
available toolbar button list, then click "Add ->" and "Close.")
Also, be sure to only single-click a message to select it - if you
double-click, it will open the message in its own window.
