I gather I have missed all the recent correspondence - the
current focus is on producing quality CD's with considerable
digital editing and vetting by consultants. The cost of of
production is considerable bearing in mind booklet details
etc. Speaking personally I know one can simply transcribe
in the C & B order but the audio result is v poor. All
systems are out of date by the time of publishing but CD
seems a good bet at the moment and proper editing now will
make a difference when the time comes to consider Mini-disc
or even MP3 format. Howard Plowright.
May I remind everyone about copyright which remains with the
original recordist.
