Hooded Plovers, (Charadrius rubricollis) , a pair (or 2 birds) seen at Manuka Point, Cleeland Bight, Phillip Island, Victoria. The spot is about 400 meters North of the exit of Cottosloe Ave onto the beach. Have never seen them in this area on Phillip Island before. Very tame, got to within 20 meters - and still sitting! Cheers Robbie Brown.
