Just home from four days at Ngarkat  Conservation Park with Lynn Pedler. It lies between Keith and Lameroo in South Australia and is one of birding's best kept secrets.
Highlights:
Mallee Emu-wren in very different habitat to Hattah
Red-lored Whistler
Mallee Whipbird
Lots of very photogenic Black Honeyeaters
Shy Hylacola
Calamanthus
Slender-billed Thornbills
etc  etc

cheers
Rob Drummond
