Birding Aussers

It seems our feathered friends have little problems with chilli's etc. 
I was listening to News Radio last week and they were talking about the
Chilli Industry in SE NSW.  They made mention that chillis are actually
spread by birds in their native climes, but mammals having a different
digestive system, find them a little "hard to swallow".  An evolutionary
adaptation, no less.
