Yesterday a Blackfaced Cuckoo-shrike flew in and picked a chilli off my self sown chilli bush and sat on the fence and swallowed it whole.  It made two more passes, picking a chilli each time.  These are hot chillies, I can attest.
 
Fairly firey sort of meal, I would have thought!!   This is the first time I have seen a bird eat these, and I have had chillies growing for some years.
