Hi Michael and Penny

Plumed Whistling-Ducks are quite common in the Lockyer Valley north-west of
Brisbane. There have been in excess of 1000 at Gatton Campus of UQ for some
time and the other day I counted over 500 on a farm dam north of Boonah just
south of the Cunningham Highway. Incidentally, there were also several
hundred Pink-eared Ducks at Gatton also but all of the large flock of Magpie
Geese had moved elsewhere.
