European Song Thrush

In the last two weeks I have noted European Song Thrush in suburban Berwick (40
km East of Melbourne) and in my back garden in Warragul (100 km East of
Melbourne). Is this species spreading? Last time I saw one was in the Botanical
gardens in downtown Melbourne. Any advance on these distances? Definately Song-
thrush. Not one of the other Turdus/Zoothera complex. I had them nesting in
garden in N.I. many years ago. Cheers
