G'day all,
Alf and I are heading off to WA in September - October and I am hoping that someone out there can help. Our intended route is Townsville - Boulia- Plenty Highway - Alice Springs- Ayres Rock- Docker River - Warburton - Laverton - Kalgoorlie etc then back across the Nullarbor.

I have taken a lot of info from Birding Aus with regard to the Southern corner which is where we will spend our time. I also got in touch with Tania When she posted info re the Nullarbor so am fairly happy with all of that. My main concern is the stretch between Ayres Rock and Kalgoorlie. Have any of you been along this road recently??

If so anything that you are willing to share would be appreciated. Conditions - fuel plus any known bird spots.

Thanking you in advance

Marleen.
