Dear Birding-Ausers,

I wanted to post the results of a brief sea-watching session last Sunday
afternoon at Point Addis (south-west of Geelong in Victoria).  There were lots
of Australasian Gannets (20) and Fluttering Shearwaters (100), some Silver Gulls
(6), a Pied Cormorant and two Shy Albatrosses.  Nothing to get excited about,
you might think.

What was really good was the pod (of at least two) Killer Whales that swam by
only about 500 metres from shore.  Watched them make their way past in quite
rough seas and disappear to the west.

Then it was back to the relatively boring birds ....................
