G'day Russell and others,

I agree Russ...I don't even believe that Grey Falcons actually exist, except for
the ones out in the back car-park that is!!

I will be heading up to Kow Swamp ASAP to have a snoop around - please provide
me with more details on the sighting locality and time (Chris C, maybe we can
catch-up on this one).

There are some previous records of this species in that general area:

   Rob Price - farm land south of the locality of Gunbower, mid-1998(ish)  2
   birds, one flying and one perched on a fence post.

   Simon Kennedy - farm land near Lake Charm (I think).  Also around a couple of
   years ago.
   Bendigo Field Nats - 1982-83 (drought period)  Mt. Terrick Terrick - 2 birds,
   suspected nesting in the Terricks NP.
