Hi All.

Oh boy I am really confused about this K-e-a- r-n-s virus stuff, and I
suspect so are some of our other subscribers. I received 3 messages from him
purporting to be replies to an e-mail I posted some time ago re. Red Hill,
my anti-virus picked it up and I trashed them so hopefully everything is
O.K. I had assumed he subscribed to Birding-aus and accessed the archive and
found my e-mails from there, however Russ said he is not a subscriber so I
am still confused [my normal state!] I don't open attachments I don't
expect, but this was a rather subtle attack and it would be easy to be
caught.

Today I dropped a friend off at Sydney airport and rather than return
directly home I decided to spend a couple of hours around the north shore of
Botany Bay. Things were windy and fairly quiet, Penrhyn Rd. produced 22
Double-barred Plovers [a goodly number I thought!] about the same number of
Red-capped Plovers, 2 Red-necked Stint and 30 + Bar-tailed Godwit plus the
usual suspects. no Little Tern or other unusual terns or gulls however. The
most unusual sighting was about 15 Rock Dove feeding on the sand and mud, I
wonder what the tide brings in that interests them?
