Birds SA held it's Easter campout at Mary Seymour Cons Park in the SE near

Tony Russell.
A sad footnote is that Bool Lagoon and nearby Hacks Lagoon, both once
glorious wetland meccas, have both been caused to dry out to desert status
by excessive draining for farming of the SE areas. There are no waterfowl
there at all, just a few wrens and other bush birds. Not worth a visit
nowadays. There isn't even a resident ranger there any longer. The things we
do in the name of "land management" !!
