Hi Edwin

AND the 40 hectare Cumberland Plain Woodland in the recently gazetted Silverwater Nature Reserve (formerly the Royal Australian Navy Armaments Depot - RANAD) at Homebush Bay.  This site, although small, supports a high number of parrot species including Galahs, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, Red-rumped Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Eastern Rosellas and Crimson Rosellas which nest at high densities in the natural hollows provided.  Not uncommon to record often three nesting pairs in the one tree.

Cheers

Peter
Regards,

Peter
