Hi everyone,
just another report mainly for Mike Tarburton on White-throated
needletail sightings. On Friday 16th March at about 6.30pm was driving
along the Princes Hwy between Moe and Morwell in Gippsland Victoria and
we were coming into a storm. Saw lots of WTNTs (viewed from the car)
flying low over the road and all around. The flock continued for at
least 5 km and as well as the birds cutting low over the road there were
lots on either side. I did not have time to stop and counted about 30
birds right over the road but I really think there must have been many
100s in the full flock.
