Scott,

        I guess that it is reasonable to assume that foxes take baby
bustards at least but how far north do foxes extend in Australia?
        Dingoes have been around for as long as bustard records have been,
would they be lesser predators than foxes?
         Habitat destruction and shooting, possibly inadvertent poisoning
via insecticides, would be my choice of reasons for bustard decline, I dont
think a decline in visibility is the problem.
