A good record of swans in Darwin this evening, not bothered by the
feral cats obviously.
I shouldn't tick the swans though cos they were obviously airship
assisted. But then I'm not one to take the high moral ground, so
maybe I can tick them after all?? For those who like statistics,
Swans won by about 11 points.
A kestrel was hanging about the football oval for most of the game
but other than a few feral pigeons and some gulls just as it got
dark, there were no more birds.
The strong winds have continued in Darwin but I haven't seen or
heard of anything blown in, unfortunately (for me and others of my
ilk, but clearly not for the birds!!)..
Happy ticking, birding or ornithologising if you prefer
Just remember it's *your* preference
