        Hi all,
There's an adult King Penguin ashore and moulting on a fairly remote
beach in SW Tas at the moment. I saw it Tuesday afternoon and given the
stage of moult expect it will remain for at least another week. It involves
a two hour drive south of Hobart and a walk of about 22 km. To minimize any
disturbance a National Parks sign erected at the site on the weekend advises
people not to approach closer than 20 m. If anyone is keen to see it drop me
a line for more specific directions.
        Cheers
        Rohan
