Dear Peter, Paul ... and many others

Please, please, PLEASE stop quoting ALL the message to which you
are replying.  It takes up space (on the archive as well as our
servers) and is especially irritating if you quote it before you
get to your remarks. We have ALREADY read it !!  And if we
haven't and your comments are interesting we can look it up.

On Netscape there is an Edit menu and under "Preferences" and
then "Messages" you can switch this quoting off.  I'm sure there
is something similar in MS IE.
