Hi Chris and birding -aus Not long ago a pied currawong landed on my decking in The Dandenong Ranges [Melbourne] to check out the bird feeder. The rosellas and other birds in the nearby trees called alarmingly and the currawong looked up to the sky and 'frooze' for at least five minutes. I was surprised that it could hold this position for so long.
