As usual, Alan Morris has provided a succinct and clear explanation as to where the Cattle Egret in the Manning have gone. It just goes to prove how often I have used these summer holidays to be elsewhere rather than in my own territory. I suspect we all owe Alan a huge than you for his detailed and considered responses over the years. I know I appreciate his work. The cattle egret were certainly in the Hunter Valley.
