The following species are not endemic:
Grey Goshawk - exists as numerous races through New Guinea and Indonesia
Black-banded Fruit-dove - The subspecies alligator is endemic, but is currently considered part of Banded Fruit-dove (P. cinctus) from Indonesia? Brown Cuckoo-dove - Depends whether you count this as a separate species (again SE Asia) Norfolk Island Parakeet - Endemic subspecies? of Red-fronted Parakeet of NZ, LHI & Macquarie Island
Cheers,
Peter

I sent this yesterday, but as it didn't come through it may have been too
big. So I am chopping it into several parts.
>
>Here is my attempt at a list of endemics found in Australia and its Island
territories. Note that in my definition of endemic, the occurrence of a
species elsehere on an introduced basis (eg Black Swan) or as a vagrant
elsewhere does not affect the endemic status of the species. @ marks an
endemic species in my list.
>I have also left out extinct endemics, such as Paradise Parrot.
