Hi all.

Regarding recent postings of Painted Button-Quail in suburban Sydney , I have recorded these birds on two occasions in June 1998 at Red Hill in the suburb of Beacon Hill on Sydney's northern beaches. The first sighting was of 8 to 10 birds and the second a couple of weeks later was of one bird and several platelets.
