"Whistleblowing" is a term generally applied to those
who expose people (especially people in positions of
power) abusing their privilege and breaking the law.
Farmers who deliberately contravene national or state
environmental legislation may be justly fingered, but
those simply engaged in "bad management practice" out
of ignorance and/or economic hardship are a totally
different case. I believe the radical position of
"Night Parrot" will do nothing but further resentment
between urban and rural dwellers. I agree with Terry
that his/her failure to sign to such a position is
cowardly and I hope he/she steps forward.
