I had a report of a Sacred Kingfisher today at the Bay Road
Heathland Sanctuary. Any earlier records from metro Melbourne
this year ?

I had been at the Sanctuary early in the day and didn't see it
but did flush a bronzewing. A Brush Bronzewing has been there
for a few months but very difficult to find. Are Brush
Bronzewings more likely to flush at a distance than Common
Bronzewings (also seen at the Sanctuary) ?
