I have photos from 1998 of both Grey-crowned Babblers and Great Bowerbird
sitting on the car rear-vision mirror checking themselves out at Katherine
Gorge and more recently Pied Butcherbird, Superb Fairy-wren and Grey Fantail
checking out reflections in a similar way.  How much of this is
"territorial" behaviour or family grouping behaviour, I wonder.
