Hello David,

I recently had the pleasure of a couple of days birding with two visiting
birdos from the US (Richard and Shirley Wilt) During the course of a trip to
Royal NP we saw the following birds:

Sulphurcrested Cockatoo
Little Corella
Grey Fantail
Brown Thornbill
Wood Duck
Redbrowed Finch
Whitethroated Treecreeper
Laughing Kookaburra
Australian Magpie
Australian Raven
Chestnut Teal
Australiasian Grebe
Whitebrowed Scrubwren
Silvereye
Superb Lyrebird
Green Catbird
Lewins Honeyeater
Eastern Spinebill
Eastern Yellowrobin
Pied Currawong
Dusky Moorhen
Black Duck
Fantail Cuckoo
Brown Warbler
Spotted Dove
Common Myna
Superb Fairywren
Rock Warbler***
Pilot Bird***
Bassian Thrush
Feral Pigeon
Spotted Pardalote
Crested Shriketit
Eastern Whipbird
New Holland Honeyeater
Redwhiskered Bulbul***
Blackfaced Cuckooshrike
Welcome Swallow
Peewee
Willy Wagtail
Yellowfaced honeyeater
Noisy Miner
Grey Shrikethrush
To be a bit more specific, the Pilot Bird(1) was spotted about 1km up Lady
Carrington Drive from the Audley end , Rock Warblers (2) were about 200m
further along. The Redwhiskered
Bulbul was found at Wattle Flat.
