I believe that if a road has been declared closed to traffic you can be
lumbered with a substantial fine - depends on the state, but I think in
SA it is $X per wheel and they count the spare. We carry two spares on
the Landrover! And if we had the A-Van behind, there's another three!
"X" is of the order of HUNDREDs.
