 Hi Netters,
        An observation from Steve Anyon-Smith.
In a reserve in Jannali, 16km SSW of Sydney a Brown Goshawk took out
a Spotted Dove and flew to a branch to feed. A Grey-backed Butcherbird flew
to a branch a metre above the goshawk. The butcherbird then fluffed up the
feathers to make himself look bigger and proceeded to warble like a magpie.
The goshawk just watched. So the butcherbird flew to a branch 3 metres away
and waited for the goshawk to feed and then flew in to take the dove, he was
dispatched with a flurry of the goshawk's wings and missed out on a feed.
The goshawk ate the lot.

All the Best
