Hi everyone

A serious message from me for a change...

I've been trying to decide which species I'd sponsor in the next HANZAB. Still haven't decided.

BUT I did think about trying to get birding-aus, as a group, to sponsor something. What do you all think? If we had enough interest, it might be possible to go for a whole family?? I think there are a couple of genera at least still not spoken for.

Please let me know what you think - reply to ME rather than the whole list. I'll post a summary.

I need to know:

(A) What you think of the idea
(B) How much you'd be willing to donate (and should everyone give the same amount)
(C) What species/genera you'd like us to support

If I can have your comments by this Friday (June 16) then I will prepare a summary and get back to everyone - and to the whole list.

I'm interested in comments for an against, by the way, so please tell me what you think! We don't have much time, that's all.

Thanks

Russell
