Hi Tony and other SA birders,

Some time ago there was a discussion by a few South Aussie birders about Crimson Rosellas and their distribution and movements in SA.

On Saturday I saw 2 (and perhaps 3 that flew before I got  a good look at them) immature Crimson Rosellas in our garden in Murray Bridge.

I have recorded them on our patch but it was nearly 11 years ago.
More recent sightings have been made nearby but not actually in our garden.
Two flew by this morning as we had breakfast.

Are others aware of Crimson Rosella movements recently?

Happy birding,

Trevor Hampel
Murray Bridge
