Gooday all,
I've borrowed a Garmin GPS unit from a sailor mate. Was able to use the thing within a matter of minutes. I just had to turn it on leave it for awhile and hey presto the coordinates were displayed. Haven't used a Magellan but the Garmin Owners Manual was easy to understand and implement for a person that has never used one until last Wednesday.
