Aside from looking out for the birds that Didier Godreau
point out in his list - it is definately worth visiting
the "The Paris National Museum of Natural History". Address
details are:

Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle (also known as Le
Jardin des Plantes) 57, rue Cuvier 75005 Paris tel: 33
   (0)1 40 79 30 00 Access: Métro: Gare d'Austerlitz on
line 5, 10 and RER C Hours: Closed on Tuesdays and 1st
of May Open 10am to 6pm

Also an extremely imformative bird web site for France is:

   http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/eufrance.htm

which is part of a a wider site entitled "Welcome to
Birding Hotspots Around the World". Check out "European
Birding Hotspots by Country":

  http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/birdeurope.htm

All the best,

Tim
