Hi Alexandra!
Or should I say "bonjour"? My 1975 book "A Guide to Bird-watching in Europe"
says (R-D Etchecopar) you should take a walk in the Bois de Boulogne on the
very outskirts of Paris. One April morning, the author observed 47 species
there, including a smew! Good luck!
